Who are we?

A few Good Men... And this website’s purpose is to help you to get to know us! To that end, you will find it far more open and casual than the typical Lodge website. We don't try to teach you about Freemasonry - there are plenty of websites that do that. We would just like to acquaint you with us, the members and Brethren of Progress Lodge #22, and make ourselves available to you to answer any questions. You will find that we are not as “strange” and “mysterious” as many would have you believe!

The mission of Freemasonry in Utah is to teach and perpetuate a way of life that promotes Brotherhood, Self Improvement through education, Family Values, Moral Standards, Charity, and Community Involvement.

Freemasonry is about “Seeking Light”, that is, Wisdom and Knowledge, and applying it in our lives. We value the fraternal friendships we develop, and work together to “make good men better”. If you would like to expand and diversify your circle of true friends, Freemasonry may be just what you’ve been looking for.

2B1ASK1 – We do not recruit, so you must ask to become a Freemason. Your search for Light begins with the petition – which can be found in our “Files” Section. If you have any questions, just ask a Mason! He will be happy to help you out. If you don’t know any Masons, feel free to contact any of the Organizers/Officers listed to the left – or just send us an Email!
